Workshop: Daring Waves/Braving Waves
Whether you’ve seen Miramos with your child/children or you just want to dance with your family, you’re welcome to join Danskompagniet Spin’s popular family workshop.
The workshop dives underwater, where we meet animals and plants below the surface. It’s an inclusive dance workshop inspired by the waves washing over the water, the crabs crawling in the sand and the sea urchin on the ocean floor. In the workshop, we create a safe atmosphere where everyone is free to explore movement in their own way.
Everyone is welcome to join in and there is room to take breaks when needed.
Veera Suvalo Grimberg is the founder and artistic director of the dance company Spinn. She has worked as a choreographer and dancer since 1995 and is educated at the Performing Arts School in Gothenburg and in dance pedagogy. Through Spinn, she creates new opportunities on stage and paves the way for future generations, where everyone has value and a place in the arts. The company’s work is based on experience, professionalism and a vision that dance should be accessible and inclusive for everyone.
