WELCOME TO
The Association for
Integrated Modern Dance
in Denmark (FIMD)
Integrated dance is:
– Dance for and with people with different abilities,
bodies and backgrounds – professionals, self-taught and
dance and movement enthusiasts.
– A counterpart to the existing dance environment and performance
scene.
– Dance that challenges the norm, dares to stand on the edge and
open to the changeable.
– Dance that is not limited by genre, but invites all expressions
and styles.
– A new art form in Denmark that embraces
diversity across a broad spectrum.
We strive to make all our activities 100% accessible to people with disabilities.
PRODUCTIONS
Since 2014 we have produced 10 different shows. Most for a low budget, until we received funding for our first big show; Where do we go from here? from, among others, the Danish Arts Foundation, in 2023.
We’ve reached around 4,900 audiences over the years, with 2019 in particular and up until the corona lockdown, we reached all over the country.
