We invite you to a conversation about sexuality, intimacy, and boundaries in a life with disability. Together with Marianne Træbing Secher, Astrid Siemens, Antoniett Vebel Pharao, and Samuel Carlsen, we will take a closer look at the experiences, perceptions, and realities that people with disabilities encounter in their sexual and intimate lives.

At the beginning of the event, award-winning dance artist and movement coach Sebastian Grubb will facilitate a short dance workshop, where we collectively create a safe space for insightful and caring conversation.

After the workshop, we will zoom in on the topic of sexuality, intimacy, and disability. Marianne Træbing Secher, Astrid Siemens, Antoniett Vebel Pharao, and Samuel Carlsen will explore the subject through insightful research-based knowledge and perspectives grounded in lived experience.

How can dance as an art form contribute to expanding a broader, more inclusive language around sexuality, intimacy, and disability? This is the question we will dive into as we conclude by showing excerpts from the work Gimp Gait, along with an interview with director and choreographer Pioneer Winter.
