About us
The purpose of the Association for Integrated Modern Dance in Denmark is to manifest
integrated dance as an art form in Denmark. To make the dance and the art form
grow and spread, so that the audience in the future can experience a more diverse
body image on the Danish performance scene.
The pioneering work started in 2013 after international workshops organized by Dansehallerne.
Since then, we have created 11 professional performances and produce the PÅ TVÆRS festival, which centers on the integration of dance, choreography, and art.
We offer members, partners and all other interested parties our multifaceted activities on a weekly basis.
Strategy 2024-2034
In continuation of the 10th anniversary of the work in 2024, a future strategy was described to develop our activities and presence mainly on the national performance scene.

Chair of the Board: Jeanne Yasko
- Dancer, choreographer, instructor, rehearsal director
- Founder and former artistic director/choreographer of the touring dance company Norrdans in Sweden, and former program director/artistic director of the master’s program at the London Contemporary Dance School, The Place
- Currently serves as a visiting lecturer at various institutions in Denmark and internationally
- Master’s Degree in Dance and Dance Education, New York University
Vice Chairman: Robin Frederiksen
- Curator specializing in socially engaged art and public formats

Cashier: Dan Kreutzfeldt
- Local enthusiast in Copenhagen’s Northwest neighborhood with a focus on community and positive branding and publicity
- The Copenhagen SUI: Dan has previously been part of an EU research project called “Snart Urban Intermediers”, where Dan was part of a research project on how enthusiasts create good relationships and conversations across and a bridge builder within his network
- Dan is a big fan of volunteering. Often you’ll see him volunteering more hours a week, in all sorts of ways, than his paid day job at DSB.
Board Member: Line Ougaard
- Consultant at DGI, focusing on strategic partnerships and the interplay between community organizations, volunteerism, and political agendas.
- Throughout her career, she has worked in the social services and disability sectors, focusing on co-creation, policy development, and public dialogue.
- I am interested in how we create opportunities for participation across differences and contribute to the work of the board by building bridges between ideas, strategy, and practice.
Board Member: Malene Becker Nielsen
- Director, choreographer, and dancer
- A political advocate for integration—and greater inclusion in the dance world—with the hope that this will create ripples throughout society and that dance can help normalize differences
- BPA (HONS) in Contemporary Dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance – Distinguished herself particularly for her research on how to adapt movement to different body types

- Since 2013, she has worked for the development of integrated dance through IDE and FIMD
- Serves as Artistic Director of FIMD, where she works for a healthier balance and greater inclusivity in our society, using dance and art as tools

- Miz is a movement teacher and creative marketing manager
- With a background in arts and culture, she worked for festivals and venues in the U.K., creating educational and business relationships.
- In Denmark she works with yoga studios and organisations, and is helping FIMD with website and project management
Fundraiser, Consultant, and FPT Assistant: Therese Mørch-Jørgensen
- Affiliated with FIMD as a fundraiser, consultant, and assistant for artistic activities that improve conditions and promote the dissemination and development of integrated aspects of culture.
- With an experimental and egalitarian approach to portability, and a passion for fine craftsmanship, it makes sense for FIMD to draw on expertise in arts administration, organizational development, creative mobilization and networking, as well as experience in event management and the execution of artistic projects.
Consulting Services
Drawing on our many years of experience, FIMD aims to serve as an advisory body on inclusion and accessibility at theaters, venues, and stages throughout Denmark, as well as across industries.
